In your (type)face
Branding is not just logo design, colour and fonts. It's also positionning, brand rules, methods of self-promotion and, most important, commitment to apply all these. When you create your brand, you not only put a “face” to your business, but also set common grounds with your customers.
How do you use it?
The brand is what you make of it, the way you apply it, the way you advertise it. You don't realy have to have a “clever” name, a sophisticated logo or “powerful“ colours (read “broght red”). Backed up with good products / services, any word can become a strong brand. Maybe not at the same level as the “stars” on the global market, but locally – where you actualy sell it – it can become a very good name.
No guarantees
If I design your logo or build your brand, don't expect it to make it big now, next month or next week. As I said, it's what you make of it. I can only draw some lines, aplly some typography and add colours – the rest is up to you.
