Just a picture?
Point your camera and shoot, then grab the picture from the memory card and place it in your presentation. Or web page, or whatever. Right? Wrong! I won't talk now about the photo techniques, this is about another subject. But every image (notice I didn't say picture) must be correctly prepared, depending on their usage.
So how does it work?
I won't get into technical details, but usualy images intended for print need special treatment, and those intended for web need a completely different preparation. All of them though need color adjustment, size adjustment, "noise" and "scratch" removal or detail sharpening. And when it comes to special effects, the work load can increase exponentially.
Then what?
Then... you decide. Of course, you won't spend money to make your vacation photos shiny and sparkling (or maybe... why not?). But for the commercial stuff, you should leave it to a professional - me (Gee, was that obvious or what?). Contact me, and I'll be happy to make you a price offer and even throw in some discounts.
